We're a Bible-believing church full of people from different walks of life who all gather on Sunday mornings to worship the God whom we believe is fully worth of all worship. We hold this in common, and lots of other things, with many churches throughout time and around the world. Here's a few things that are important to us and a couple that make us different.
We just started up in 2015 so we're just getting going. We have a great group of people who are excited about being a community, loving the community, and growing our community. Let us know if you'd like to be a part of what we're doing, we'd love to have you.
We're in Belmont
While people come to Beacon from a variety of towns we are firmly rooted in Belmont and have a heart for serving the community of Belmont. Whether serving coffee to commuters or providing movies on Saturdays for families we want to love this town and be a positive part of it. We meet Sundays @10am at Studio Cinema.
We don't just want to "play church", we want to see people's lives transformed by the overwhelming love and grace of Jesus Christ, starting with our own. We are a church who knows we aren't perfect and fall humbly at the feet of God in gratefulness for not only loving us but for sending us out to show His love to others.

The main leadership at Beacon consists of elders and staff members. These men and women work hard to ensure that Beacon is a community that has great teaching, great music, and provides a welcoming environment where both new and old members can make use of their gifts and talents in a way that honors God.

Dane Helsing serves as the pastor of Beacon Community Church. Prior to Beacon, Dane served as the associate pastor of Hope Fellowship Church in Cambridge, MA for 6 years. The Helsings live in the Winn Brook area of Belmont and are grateful for the strong sense of community in their neighborhood. Dane, Laura and Cecile enjoy anything outside – gardening, running, biking, hiking and tennis.
